Description - Rosemary is of the most important plants used in aromatherapy. It is produced in Europe and was originally a native of the Mediterranean coast. Rosemary oil is extracted from the flowering tips or the leaves.
Effects On The Mind - Rosemary activates and enlivens the brain, clearing the head and reducing mental fatigue. May help with memory loss.
Effects On The Body - This antiseptic oil is both a physical and mental stimulant, and is excellent in the treatment of muscular strains, arthritis, and migraines as well as skin and hair beauty treatments. Rosemary, in combination with other oils such as Lavender and Marjoram, is very successful in treating athletes with overworked muscles.

Blends Well With - Lavender, lavandin, Thyme, Fir, Peppermint, Cedarwood, Petitgrain, Cinnamon, and other spice oils.
Cautions - Do not apply directly to skin without diluting in a carrier first. Rosemary should not be used during pregnancy, nor for people with epilepsy.
